Terms and Conditions

Prices and entry/departure

1. Prices are per week, Saturday to Saturday. The price includes heating, electricity, bed linen and towels. 
2. Prices are for up to 6 people. The cottage comfortably sleeps 4 adults and 2 children (the small, bunk-bedded room is more suitable for children)
3. On the day of your arrival,  the cottage will be ready for you by 3pm Saturday. On the day of your departure, the cottage must be vacated by 10am Saturday.
4. The cottage must be left in a clean and tidy condition on departure. Any breakages and/or damage must be paid for.   

Booking and payment

1. A non-refundable deposit of £100 per week is required to secure your let.
2. The balance, together with a £100 house-keeping deposit, is payable 8 weeks before the start of your let. If this is not received, your booking will be cancelled.
3. If you are booking less than 8 weeks prior to the start of your let, the price, together with a £100 house-keeping deposit, is payable in full at the time of booking.
4. The house-keeping deposit will be refunded to you within 7 days of the end of your let, provided the cottage is left in a clean and tidy condition, and nothing is broken or damaged during your let.
5. Should you cancel the let, we will try to re-let the cottage. If we are successsful, we will refund your payment, less the non-refundable deposit.
6. In making a booking, you agree to keep the cottage and its contents in the same condition as at the start of your let.
7. You must be over 18 years old to let the cottage.
8. Cheques should be made payable to "Eilean Dubh Cottage".

Pets

1. One well-behaved dog is welcome by prior agreement. 
2. £10 will be added to the price to cover additional cleaning costs.
3. Your dog must be kept downstairs and off the furniture and beds.
